Food Hub database system available for free

The Stroudco Food Hub have been working away at connecting local people with local food for many years now, and have a great track record of producing and distributing great food.
As well as doing the food thing, they are champions at sharing what they are learning, as you can see from their project profile, featured videos, and representations in our ‘patterns‘ to date.
Now they are giving away the software that underpins their system for nothing to other food co-ops who could use it…

We are very pleased to let you know that the Stroudco Food Hub database system has now developed to a stage where we are happy to offer it to other groups to take on. The software is available free of charge on an open source basis.
If you would like to download the system, please first fill in your answers to all the questions (attached) and send the form back to info@stroudco.org.uk We will use the details you give us to keep track of who is using the software so that we can all benefit from any updates or changes that any of us make.
Please note that Stroudco is making this software available to organisations/groups who will use it to set up not-for-profit social enterprises. Stroudco currently has no budget or resources to provide technical support to other organisations/groups in using this system and no budget or resources to adapt the software for other organisations/groups. However, we are looking for funding to run a training session for people wanting to use the Stroudco system. Please let us know if you are interested in this.
We would like all organisations/groups that use the Stroudco system to give us a regular update (at least once per year) on how they are using it and any updates they have made to the system.
