Fundraising support for Transition hubs and groups

Are you part of a Transition group or hub seeking funding options to support your projects?
You don’t have to start from scratch, there’s help available!
Tanya Medukha, one of the fundraising roles at Transition Network, is currently offering funding sources and writing assistance to support Transition hubs and groups in locating and applying for funding to support ongoing work.
What’s included
- A complete list of funders aligned with your project
- Co-creation of grant applications
What to expect
- Each hub or group representative who submits a funding request will receive a personalised message regarding next steps.
- Each project with a track record of delivery will receive a funding recommendation.
Requirements
For initiatives:
- Be registered on the Transition Groups website
- Be operational for at least 1 year (breaks in activity are allowed)
- Be able to clearly communicate which Transition activities the group has carried out
For hubs:
- Having taken part in the 2024 self-assessment process
Costs
Time:
- 30 minutes to 2 hours to fill out the fundraising assistance request form.
- 1-4 hours to answer follow up questions and review funder recommendations.
- 5-20 hours per week per funding application for the collaborative application writing stage.This depends on the application deadline and will last about 1 month approximately.
Financial: A success fee not exceeding 15% of the awarded grant amount.
How to get started:
- Register on the Transition Virtual Platform – if you haven’t done so already.
- Join the Fundraising space by clicking here.
- Once you’re a member of the space, fill out the Fundraising Assistance form in the left side menu. You can also access it here.
- Receive a confirmation within a day or two and more information on what comes next.
