Landshare launches groups tools

Our friends over at the magnificent Landshare have just launched a suite of nifty ‘online groups tools’ for landsharers wanting to set their local growing groups up online. They look handy – here’s the outline:
You can now start a local group or register your existing group on Landshare with a brand new section on the website.
We know that much of landsharing activity takes place offline and our group functionality is designed to support just that.
Key features include the ability to:
- get more people involved in your group
- send group messages
- promote events
- collate listings, blogs, photos and more between a number of users all in one place
- get your own unique Landshare URL that you can promote to others i.e. www.landshare.net/hackneyheroes
To access Groups, click on the “Community” tab and then “Groups” or go to the groups page on the site.
Use Landshare Groups to become more active in your local area and to raise your group’s profile. Send an email to Landshare if you have a group you think should be featured in next month’s newsletter or if you have any questions.
